O NÁS

Skill centre is a joint project of the South Moravian region and the Magistrate of the Brno City Municipality. Its goal is to ensure that qualified foreigners coming to the South Moravian region can make use of their skills and knowledge and find an appropriate job in our labor market. We try to fulfill this objective via the creation of innovative activities based on the collaboration with relevant partners, who are part of the employment integration process.

The project was created based on the experience with intercultural work in the city of Brno and with collaboration with the Centre for Foreigners JMK.

Public and state institutions

We map and analyze the current foreigner employment situation in the South Moravian region. We base our work in specific cases, on which we network, connect and coordinate the parties involved. By cooperating with them, we try to propose appropriate solutions for the elimination of barriers to market entry or career growth. We share good experience with them in the area of inclusion of foreigners in the labor market, as well as in the area of intercultural work at the municipal level.

Employers

We map and analyze barriers and examples of good practice in the area of employing foreigners in the South Moravian region. We collaborate with chosen employers and support them in the creation of appropriate methods in employing foreigners and eliminating barriers.

Foreigners living in the South Moravian region

We help foreigners find adequate job positions and increase their chances in the labor market through individual jobmentoring sessions, group and individual education, requalification and support in the area of transfer and development of professional and expert competences and knowledge.
